I am 26 weeks pregnant and I think a piece of my mucus plug came out.?

Last nite i went to use the restroom and i wiped myself and there was this little stingy white thing and at the end of it was a redish/brownish color but i had no bloody substance after that. Was that part of my mucus plug and what should i do. I feel fine, no contractions, leaking or anything
