I know all about beer goggles, but does alcohol affect your hearing too?

i think so....me personally i talk a lot louder when im drunk, but it doesnt sound like it at the time...ive just had ppl tell me that and seen it later on a video and stuff....and i also think im an amazing singer when im drunk..but im so not!
