Fedding a kitten that wont eat?

How do I get a newborn kitten to eat when its mother wont let it suck on her like the other kittens? I don't touch the kitten only using a clean new cloth to pick up and I follow directions on how to feed it but it won't drink from kitten bottle. Also the mother is very rude to her kittens she does not like to feed them....I don't know what to do besides force her to feed kittens and keep trying to feed the runt myself to with no results. The runt looks ok though, for now.
