My dog is on amoxicillin , last night I gave him a Prednisone b/c he starting limping, is that okay?

If he is ok by now then he should be fine. i wouldnt mix medications though anymore until you talk to your vet- But if he was going to have some kind of reaction he would have had one already so im sure hes just fine.
