My pony gallops towards jumps help?

i have a 13.2 pony which is normal really good but hes started to gallop towards the jumps, then refuses and i keep falling of and getting hurt i don't no what to do i try everything such as starting small then raise it like chaise me charlie hes good when i do that but still gallops towards it. The only way i can stop him from doing this is putting about 5 poles in front of the jump but i can't do that in a show either so i don't no what to do :/ please help if your ENGLISH like from the uk. *THANKS* :D:D:D
