Someone help me I need a make over?

I am not a girly girl, but I'm not a tom boy either, I would say I was average, I know beauty tips etc, but I am struggling at the moment to find myself bearable.. I feel so unattractive and haven't really got the time or money to spend on expensive new clothes, underwear, hair or make up. My self esteem is really low at the moment because of this. I feel so crap compared to my friends as they all seem to make it look effortless and they are all stunning... how can I have the look I want without making myself seem like I'm out of place or trying too hard?
