Wanting to go to school for nursing, but am hesitant due to MRSA and other infectious dieases.. any advice??

Anne gave the perfect answer. If you follow the Universal Precautions you will be well protected against infections agents. I have to tell you, just by using regular hand hygeine and using masks when necessary in the workplace, I never get sick with anything. It's been years since I had a cold or the flu or anything like that. Working in a hospital full of sick and infections people, I'm the healthiest I have ever been in my life.
