Why are the McCanns 'dismayed' by 'unhelpful' comments?

I think I am quite bored by the subject really. My family arrived in the UK from New Zealand yesterday, and apparently that's about all the news coverage they're getting over there at the moment...weird, when you think of all the other hundreds of kids who are missing in the world.
