Windows Movie Maker problem?

Every movie clip I load into WMM from /my camera/ will play fine, but it will only play the audio of the clip and the screen will be black. Any clips I try to play from other cameras work fine. Please help as the only camera I'll be using is mine, which is a hitachi dvd camcorder.
