Kitty boogers-normal?

I have always been in the habit of keeping my cats eyes, ears and nose clean-so that they get used to the vet touching them when they have to go for checkups and such- plus its a good way to know if my cats are healthy. Anyways- My kitten seems to have lots of dark "boogers" could it be from dust in the house? the litter? The other cats dont have them...? Should I be conserned of just keep my eyes open.. this is not something new with my kitten.

It may sound silly since it's a technical world today, but I'm 17 and still send letters to my friends even though we have the internet and cell phones. That is really young, and your feelings may change later. The best thing to do is to stay in contact as see where you are later on. look im 27 and when i was 14 my dad had an awesome job but then he threw out some discs in his back and ended up having 4 back surgeries. and wasnt allowed to ever work in the u.s again. and was put on disabilty. my mom didnt have a career so we had to live on my dads disability and my moms grocery store pay until i got to an age that i moved out on my own.my dads disability wasnt no where near enough and im sure u can imagine what my mom made at a grocery store. so yea we went from vacations and good clothes to almost poverty level too. but as i said im 27 now and my parents still have it rough and my mom is now disabled too. but the point of the story is this. is has formed who i am today. i see people with all kinds of money living well, but alot of the time thier attitudes suck! all they care about is money and other people that have money and if u dont, u aint nothing.i have 2 kids a nice house its nothing fancy but im happy. u and ur family might have to rough it and things will b different but u dont have to have tons of money to b happy.what u can do is better yourself get an education and make a way for yourself. and maybe even get to a point that u can help ur mom out later in life. itll all be ok. i promise im sure ur mom will find a way to make it. just pray. god will make a way!

Horse threw a shoe how can I grow back hoof?

I went out last night to feed him and noticed he was limping I looked closer and saw that the shoe had come off. I used a shoe with clips and when the clip came undone it must have torn off a piece of his hoof because now there's like a half inch to an inch missing from the outside part of the hoof. My horse already was needing to grow out hoof and I had been feeding him gelatin because my farrier had recommended it. I had the farrier come out today and he took the rest of the shoes of because he said there was nothing to nail to on the bare hoof. So my question is Is there anything I can feed him or do to make his hoof grow faster? Also he has a sole bruise and my farrier said to watch it because it could become an abscess is there anything I can do to prevent this? Thanks

A friend of mine suggested that the reason why my computer was selectively accessing some internet applications on not others was due to something called DNS malware. I have two good friends who are smart, nice people but they've just made (what I think is) a stupid mistake. They've both started drinking...and they like it and don't regret getting drunk at all. Activities for a 2 year old?

I stay at home with my 26 month old daughter and I'm running out of ideas for things to do. Today I tried to make cookies with her but she kept eating huge handfuls of dough and threw a fit when I made her stop. I try going outside and playing in the snow and make a snowman, but she just wants to dig in the neighbor's mulch. Coloring or reading can't hold her attention for longer than 1 minute, but she can sit in front of the TV watching kids movies quite happily! Everyone in a wedding is responsible for their own attire. It would be nice if you didn't expect the groomsmen to spend $200+. Since the kilts are $50 more than the tux maybe you could pay the difference if you really want the groomsmen to wear them. Has anyone talked to the guys, are they willing to wear kilts? $100 for a bridesmaid dress is really reasonable. I got married 12+ years ago and the dresses cost $135. How do you feel about CoD Black Ops?

I was impressed with black ops, it was not a waste of money. I like the online play though. But to be frank, the knifing range blows! And the spawning machine (or some people know it as the spawning engine) is bad. It isnt horrible, its just bad. The graphics are nice and my gameplay was very smooth. But the new edition of LS+Direction+B to do a dive was not all that helpful to me. And replacing the Tac-Knife with the Ballistics Knife I think was an interesting idea but I think you should be able to have one or the other and like choose in the options pane or something. And throwing knife replaced by tomahawk was in my opinion good. Umm, well everybody online is competitive, some are y, and some are just noobs (trust me, noobs is the last word I wanted to use in this question, i dont like that word) and the ballistics in black ops were improved compared to the ballistics in mw2 which weren't accurate. I also don't like how you can't snipe too well in most maps. Also, zombies was good. I like the maps, and I always start tripping when I get the teddy bear and I'm advancing through the map shooting where I last stepped with the countless zombies coming after me but that's fun every now and again. Well I guess I should stop answering the question with my own opinions and let you guys get to it. So thanks in advance!

Few days ago, a man came into our restaurant claimed that after he ate our food yesterday one of his teeth broke. Now he had this lawyer send me a letter and wanted me to pay for his dental work and some money for the pain that he had suffered. He ordered his food to to and he didn't find anything in the food. We've been cooking the same way ever since we've opened 10 years ago, and nobody has ever complained that our food being too hard to chew and all the meats we serve are boneless. A question about a 2000 Dodge Dakota V6?

Had intermittent oil pressure. Changed oil pump. Truck might run 15 miles with good pressure and suddenly go to zero. And it does loose pressure. You can start to hear the lifters slapping. Turn it off coasting wait maybe three seconds and start again and you got oil pressure again. It might run another mile and after a few seconds or it can be minutes it goes to zero again. Is there anyone else that has had this and can help.

Did my dad give me good advice?

I'm having a tiff with a couple of my second cousins (my dad's first cousins). I know time will heal this eventually; however, I was having such a hard time with it mentally to the point of suffering from ill health. Ok to work out with broken ankle?

i broke my ankle last week and will be in a cast for 5 more weeks. Not woring out is just not an option for me, I have been doing upper body. Im sure excercises where im lying down with my feet in the air are ok like benching etc. Just wonering is it ok to kneel in the broken ankle leg? As in when doing curls military press etc, the injurey ankle would not be weight bearing but out behind me and my good leg on the ground. Truth about higher octane gas vs low octane?

During my high school years kids were always saying that putting higher octane fuel in your car will give it more horsepower. I always disagreed with them. Higher octane gas is made for cars with higher fuel compression. With a higher fuel compression the gas can be less flammable. I was told by an engineer that putting a lower octane gas then recommended in a car will increase horsepower. However it might create spark knock that is not good for the engine if it was made for high octane fuels. When your car doesn't need a higher octane and you put one in are you just waisting your money and actually loosing performance? Do you agree or disagree with me that higher octane, if the engine is not made for it you get less performance?

Why do planes sometimes take circuitous route byping some countries when they could fly over it and save some fuel. I can understand Indian planes not flying over Pakistan for example, but why do airlines like Emirates (UAE) byp friendly countries like Qatar and Bahrain to reach Saudi Arabia from Dubai? Any Advice on a Real Dilemma?

I have a beautiful 9 yr old 17.2hh Registered Oldenburg Gelding. He is perfect in every way..... except one. Let me start by saying that I bought him from a Grand Prix barn and they told me they were selling him because his rider was too inexperienced for him. That he test her constantly and ride fine and then throw her. He is trained to the T's in Dressage and has a lifetime membership with the USDF. I figured that he just probably needed a change of pace... probably worked too hard and started too fast. So I thought he'd make a magnificent hunter/jumper. I took him for a test drive and he rode like a dream... bought him took him home and let him settle in. Took him for his first ride and knew why they had problems... He was still increadibly well trained but had issues with the corners of the arena. They told me he did every now and then but said to just push him through it with crop and spurs and not to let him get away with anything... yah.. OK... Did that and barely touched him with my spurs and he went off like a bronc! (They told me he "Never" bucked but OMG can that boy get air crow hopping!) I tried to move him forward out of it but the crafty little guy decided to crowhop forwards and slam his front feet when comming down and jar the hell out of my back.... I'm not going to say it didn't hurt, I seriously think he gave me whiplash! Then he tried to bolt on me so I spun him in a circle... not a great choice... as it seems he has been spun as a punishment before and he was a pro at it. We spun at mock 10 for 5 minutes until I couldn't take much more and he wasn't even tired or dizzy. I have to say I was puzzled. So I changed tackticts and took off my spurs and dropped the crop and walked him loose rein around the arena a few times to end the session. This type of behaviour continued throughout every riding session but didn't start until about half an hour of riding. (I know your thinking its his back or tack or muscle or teeth...etc bothering him but it isn't . I purchased him with a vet check (that came with a full body x - ray, blood work,) that covered the full nine yards) So I gave him 6 months off to get his head straight. Maybe thinking he might just need some time to just be a horse after probably being started too fast and worked too hard most of his life. Then I decided to change things up and have my friend come in and give him a try. (My friend rides western and has 40+ yrs experience) And of course just to make me look like a lier he rode like a dream and my friend told me he was such a joy to ride and even though he wasn't the type of horse he normally goes for (being a western rider) loved the horse. Of course then I took him out the next day I didn't have a dream ride. I was STUMPED! Now it was a question of my horse either not liking women (as his only owners had been women) or not liking the english discipline. I was praying it was neither as I was dying to bond with him and make a great team so I wasn't going to give up on him EVER. And in case you were wondering I rode him indoors and out. So... He rode wonderful for my husband who has a broken back, shattered anckle and hands (a gift from 40+ yrs of breaking and training) and he just loves him too... I love him but just can't have a good ride with him. Now... here's the kicker my husband has ridden him a couple of times and never had a problem.. even asking him english cues that I instructed him to ask in a western saddle.. LOL that looked funny! But No Problems! I then tacked him up english and asked my husband to take him for another spin and he had issues within the first 15 minutes. Changed the saddle and No Problems... I have had problems with my back (scoliosis) as well and haven't been able to get back up on him since my husbands ride but I've got a good idea that he might ociate the english saddle with dissiplinary action, displeasure and too much stress and bad memmories. It can't be that the saddle hurts him as I've checked every possible tack problem and he has no physical problems. My question is : How do I get him to accept the english saddle without him knowing its on him ?? any suggestions would be appreciated. I use a poa saddle pad with a wither/back fleece half pad (tons of cussion). Lunging him only worsens the problem as you can tell they've also done that when you go to lunge him he does it on his own without asking and thinks he's done a good thing when he's finished! I did find out later from a friend of mine that worked for the barn I got him from that they drug all their horses with "Ace" before they ride them or sell them. Apparently they can't ride a horse that isn't drugged and perfectly behaved ALL the time! Thanks for taking the time to read my long, detailed question!

I seem to be having a DEP revolt on my laptops!! I have 3 laptops that all have a DEP error on start up. The message says that DEP has closed win explorer and hence nothing on the desktop is accessible. i cannot run any programs except via task manager. But why do some just seem to HATE children? I mean, they were one once too ya know, we are all humans! Recently, I was on an airline flight and my baby boy who is 8 months old started giggling when the plain was landed, I guess he thought it was funny I dunno. The flight was only 2 hours long and he was very well behaved and aside from his giggling episode and two small shrieks when we had some turbulence, was really good, I was pleased. Well anyway the woman beside me who couldn't have been much older than myself kept rolling her eyes at me and glaring at me the whole fight which I thought was strange but I was like ok maybe she doesnt' like kids....when the flight was over I was deboarding holding my infant and she shoved me trying to get ped me then proceedes to SCREAM at me that " Your baby gave me a friggin headache! I hate kids! People like you ruin vacations for the rest of us!" I was so upset, omg and the flight attendants tried to go after her actually I guess because she was shoving me out of the way and they saw it. But seriously? Maybe that woman was crazy or something but it seems like she' snot the only one that feels that way. HOW CAN I GET BETTER??

Ok, so I am very strict about how I want to my son treated, what he's fed, no kissing his face, etc. Well my son is 4 months old 15 lbs and is strictly fed. No rice cereal no nothing. I personally feel that my son should not have solids until 6 months at least, and when he does start, I want to be the one who starts him. Enter the MIL. She does everything I tell her not to do and represents everything I detest. I told her not to give my son water, she does it anyway. I tell her not to take my son outside in 90 degree, she does it anyway. So anyway....she buys all these baby food items and gives them to my husband and tells me that she wants to start him on the foods now. Of course my husband says no. Our son is watched by my husband's grandmother while we are at work (His mother has a 6 year old son that she cant handle and I want my son to be safe!) His grandmother went away for a bit and while she was out my MIL tried to feed my son baby food. My brother in law stopped her.

URGENT* Several questions on business aspect of my school + school district consolidation /sorry if wrong area

The high school I go to is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and is legally a private institution. well, he's not over at the knee, which is good. he has a good sized backbone. but he looks a little thin, like you said...i think he needs to just get worked. the picture of his backside looks like he lost a lot of muscle. so backing up exercises would help gain muscle in his back end. his neck is perfect size, not too long or too short. i think, overall, he just needs to get into shape, gain some weight & muscle, then he'll look marvelous. also, in one of the pictures he looks slightly pigeon-toed. maybe ask your shoer about that? it's not a huge deal, unless he has an extreme case of it, which i don't think he does.

Not sure from your question though it sounds like the endoscopist is unable to get past the presumed area of "thickening" in your sigmoid. Statistically this thickening most likely represents diverticular scarring. Your greatest concern would be a colon carcinoma(leiomyosarcoma would be way way down on the list.) If there is any way your endoscopist to get througth this area(?pediatric scope) and visualize the mucosa(inner lining) you could eliminate the risk of a colon cancer since as you know they orginate in the mucosa. Also a negative PET scan may also give you more reurance that you are dealing with a benign "thickening."

How do I get a newborn kitten to eat when its mother wont let it suck on her like the other kittens? Will my cat's sinus infection go away on its own?

Well, I was born in early 46 and my parents loved the radio. I especially was impressed by music in the early 50's when it shifted out of the big-band era to more individual artists like Patty Page, Doris Day, Teresa Brewer, Jo Stafford and Les Paul/Mary Ford. Piaf was great! "Milord" (not sure of the spelling) was excellent. Though the big-band era was a few years before my time, I groove on it. Spent over 40 years as a DJ/Producer in broadcasting including over 4 years in Minneapolis/St. Paul. In that time, I worked with everything from Clical to Country and yes even 3 years doing a morning show that featured a lot of 40s thru early 60s music. Didn't get really heavy into early rock music from the late 50s but liked material by Dion, Bobby Darin, Everly Brothers, Tokens, The Browns and The Fleetwoods. Favorite era was 1959-1968, especially up to 1966. Gene Pitney, Bobby Vee, Brenda Lee, Drifters, Ben E. King ("Spanish Harlem"...written in part by Phil Spector..."Stand By Me"...one of my absolute faves) and of course the Beatles though my all-time fave group was the Moody Blues. Now, I get into a little of everything but Rap. Can't stand it. Haven't been a DJ for over 6 years but I have operated a recording studio since 1966 so I'm still active in the music business. I have an extensive music collection and put well over 300 of the best tunes from about 1950 thru 1971 on a series of CDs I call "Boomer's Gold". Right now I'm working on the last 2-album set called "Flowers and Gr" with the best of 1965-1967...the "Hippy" culture. And yeah, Yippy, Yippy, Yippy, I am an aging Hippy, but only in spirit because I never got into the drug scene though I have been known to do herb superb from time to time! Beats the heck out of rotting your body on meth, coke or H. Sheesh, those are true maroons. Also did acid three or four times in the early 70s. My best guess is that you very well could be, except your stress could be playing a factor. I would try another home pregnancy test (the more expensive kind) because the cheaper ones take a larger amount of hCG to decipher if the hormone is present or not...other than that it is playing the waiting game for your blood test...
